I have always found John M Hayes to be reliable, efficient and accurate.

Today marks the 11th annual Employee Ownership day, on which thousands of employee owners and employee owned businesses celebrate and raise awareness of the benefits and impact of employee ownership.
It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce that The John M Hayes Partnership Limited has been able to achieve its goal of moving to employee ownership, which was completed on 6th March 2023 and shared with our colleagues at a company conference on 16th March 2023.
John Hayes established his business in 1985, at which time he did not anticipate the successes the business has achieved or establishing the company that trades today. John has employed and supported hundreds of individuals in their careers during that time, taking a keen interest in each one from their early days in the company and embraced them into the business family. Equally, John has always expressed his recognition of the strong correlation between company employees and his success. As a result, over the past 5-10 years John expressed a desire to pass the business on to his employees. The timing of such a big change is always important in business but John felt that the timing was right for that transition to take place this year and, after 38 years of ownership, John made his wish a reality and passed the baton to his family of employees to continue on his legacy.
What does this now mean for the company, clients and its staff?
Well, at the outset there will be very little change. Due to the company ethos of rewarding, supporting and listening to staff, employees have always had a strong influence on the company direction. The company will continue to be run by the same Board of Directors and Management team, who have each been with the company for more than 10 years. However, the employees will now officially have a more prominent voice in the way the company operates for their own benefit.
What does this mean for clients? The good news for clients is that employee owned companies are more productive, resilient, expect to have less staff turnover and invest for the long term. Our staff now have more of a vested interest in the services we provide, the relationships we hold with our clients and the success of our business, which will only result in a positive impact on clients and the services we provide.
What about Mr John M Hayes?
For a number of years John has had very little involvement in the daily operations of the business, instead leaving this to his very experienced and long standing management team. However, he has remained an active owner and member of the board, visiting offices regularly and taking employees out for lunch. John will relinquish his role as an owner but will continue to be involved at Director level and as a Trustee, supporting both the senior management team and his employees in addition to ensuring that the business still retains its core values.
We would like to publicly thank John Hayes for his unwavering commitment to all of his employees and making this momentous change a reality. We would also like to thank every one of our staff, each of whom have contributed to the business’s success and without which this would not been possible.
