Remember this infographic from July 2016? The map highlighted legal aid advice deserts for housing and debt maters throughout the UK. This week, it appears that the situation has deteriorated with new advice desert “hot spots” located in the north of England with expressions of interest for a sizeable number of new matter starts being invited from existing legal aid contract suppliers based in the north of England.
