Law Costs Draftsman
Sharon initially joined the John M Hayes Sutton Coldfield office in 1995 before she transferred to the Matlock office and is now based in Chesterfield. She studied for a Law and Criminology Degree at Keele University and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Trent University.
Sharon works on all aspects of civil costs with a particular niche in clinical negligence, serious injury claims and multi-party actions, including group litigation. Her busy caseload sees Sharon balancing her time preparing bills of costs for detailed assessment and undertaking costs negotiations. She also has expereince of preparing costs budgets. Though mostly office based, Sharon also works in-house for solicitors around the region. Sharon has assisted with training in the office and also prepares blog articles on recent case law for the company website.
Her home life is kept busy with two young children and day trips with the family. Sharon has recently “re-kindled” her love of reading after receiving a kindle as a gift.
