Bristol Office
- Fiona Carroll BSc (Hons) - Regional Manager
Fiona has worked for The John M Hayes Partnership since 1999 and is a Fellow of the Association of Law Costs Draftsmen. She began her career in the Birmingham office before relocating to open the Bristol office in 2004. Fiona has considerable experience in all aspects of costs with particular interest in serious injury claims, complex care matters and very high costs cases. Fiona hopes to further her career by qualifying as a Costs Lawyer.
- Kate Gill BSc (Hons)
Kate joined The John M Hayes Partnership in August 2004 and since that time has gained extensive experience in all aspects of law costs drafting, including preparing both legal aid and civil bills of costs, regularly undertaking negotiations and preparing points of dispute and replies. More recently she has begun working in-house for solicitors in the South-West region, attending detailed assessment hearings and has also taken a keen interest in preparing very high costs case plans in complex care cases. Kate is currently a student with the ALCD and hopes to begin studying for her associate exams in the near future.
- Shaun Williams BA (Hons)
Shaun joined The John M Hayes Partnership in September 2008 after graduating from the University of the West of England with a degree in Law and Geography and has recently concluded his training. Since joining the company he has prepared bills in publicly funded and inter-partes matters and undertaken work on negotiating settlement of the costs arising from this work, including preparation of replies to points of dispute. Shaun plans to widen his experience by attending detailed assessment hearings. Shaun has also prepared a number of very high costs case plans in complex care matters.
- Paul Robinson BA (Hons)
Paul joined The John M Hayes Partnership in September 2008 having previously studied history at Cardiff University. Following conclusion of his initial period of training Paul is experienced in the preparation of publicly funded and inter partes bills and is a keen negotiator, obtaining good settlements for his clients. Paul has more recently widened his experience to include preparing high cost case plans and replies to points of dispute. Paul regularly works in-house for clients.
